Incident: 22 May 2012
Ordered Stencil Blouse (off-white), emailed a copy (not print screen; a cut and paste sort) of the following (@ 10.45am):

Everything seemed original.
13:15 - 13:19 hours: As she did not leave her address, I emailed her as to whom should I address it to. She replied that I should mail it to her friend and attach a mystery happy birthday note.
13:25 - 13:42 hours: I logged on iBank to check if the payment had been received/transaction has been processed. However, there was no such transaction reflected in my transaction history. I've called the bank instantly, worried that there could be a discrepancy or perhaps the iBank services had a delay. POSB staff attended to my case by checking if there was such a transaction reference no. or any of such amount being transferred.
They stated that:
- no such transaction ref
- no such amount.
- there was no delay in service, thus the amount should be reflected immediately unless she had enter the wrong a/c no. (which she did not)
13:42 hours: I immediately emailed the buyer that her payment was no received and asked her to call the bank to clarify her transaction. Also to get back to me ASAP.
22:09 hours: Emailed here as to whether she has resolved the transaction 'mystery'
23 May 2012 (19:40 hours): Still no reply.
I don't really know what happened here. The possible reasons are (1) she did not make payment (2) she had copy and paste the transaction completed table and edited the numbers as it's in a type format.
What I do know is that if I had honestly paid/ proceeded through the transaction for something and the transaction was not reflected in the seller's a/c I would be horrified and panic and instantly communicate with the bank and the seller to resolve this matter. (which in this case, the buyer did not do so).
Just beware of such case as you read this post. I've heard of cases whereby buyers photo shop screenshots of transactions to fake it. I believe that I just encountered something similar to that.
Also, it was my mistake for not asking for her iBank nick as based on the transaction reference (long) hence conclude that it was via iBank.
Even so, I did not mail the item out. So just to let everyone get a heads up on such cases.
